20 Year Celebration for Pastor Jonathan
After 4 weeks off on annual leave, it was great to welcome back Pastor Jonathan on Sunday 6th September.
Pastor Jonathan led the service as usual completely unaware that when he invited Pastor Steve to the front, the church leadership had secretly put together a special celebration to mark 20 years of Jonathan pastoring the church.
A highlights video was played, Pastor Jonathan was presented with a watch and Lorraine was surprised with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Pastor Steve reminded the church that although Jonathan may not have changed much over the last 20 years, the Lord had certainly been faithful, and the church had changed a lot.
As we celebrate this significant milestone, we give thanks for God’s faithfulness and for all He has done. Galatians 6:9- And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
