Former Elder John Cameron Called Home
Following the recent passing of former Pastor Eddie Young, the church once again gathered on Friday 29th August in solemn remembrance—this time to honour the life of John Cameron.
John faithfully served as an elder in the church from 2015 until 2022, when declining health meant he could no longer continue. As Pastor Jonathan reminded the congregation, John was willing to step into leadership at a time when few others were able, proving himself a great support and encouragement to many. He was especially known for his steadfast presence, never missing a prayer meeting.
Pastor Jackie King of Calvary Baptist Church read from Psalm 23 and also shared with the church John’s deep love for his Saviour, which was evident to all who knew him.
