September has been a busy month with all the various ministries starting back. We are so grateful to the teams of volunteers who serve faithfully each week at the Senior citizens, Kidz Reach, Youth Reach, Thrive and the Friday Night Club. Through every ministry our desire remains the same that people of all ages would come to know that God as the King of Kings.
Pastor Jonathan also began a new Sunday morning series looking at the life of Joseph from the book of Genesis. Teaching Tuesday also resumed on 2nd September with Pastor Jonathan teaching systematically through the book of Daniel. Meanwhile on Sunday evenings Pastor Steve has continued the series Fly Through the Bible covering the entire Old Testament in just five weeks.
This month, Pastor Steve has had the privilege of taking assemblies in Forth River, Glenwood and Edenbrooke Primary schools We are thankful again for these continued opportunities to share God’s word and love with the children in our community.
Band of Brothers had a great time at Premier snooker club.
Sadly, September was also a month marked by loss for many families in our community. As a church, we count it an honour to walk alongside those who are grieving, offering prayer, practical help, and the comfort of Christ.
We are excited to be sending out our Tennessee Mission Team next month. Please pray that their time with Cleveland Baptist will be a blessing, and that the Lord will protect them as they travel.
