New Members and Leadership Appointed
Tuesday 12th May was a significant evening in the life of the church. Our Annual General Meeting began with Pastor Jonathan reminding us of the words of Psalm 127:1- “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labour in vain who build it.”
We gave thanks to God that He is continuing to build His church and it was a joy to welcome Jean, Iowna, Sandra, Maureen, Gary, Liz, Carol, Sissi, Kim and Sharon into membership.
Later in the meeting we expressed our sincere gratitude to David Dunlop, Robert McQuaide and Philip Taylor who have stepped down from the church leadership team. We are so thankful for their faithful service, leadership and support over last few years.
The church also elected Mark Shields and Stephen Dickson as Elders, and Thomas Shaw and William Neill as Deacons. Please be praying for God’s wisdom, guidance and help for the new leadership team, together with our Pastors.
