February 26 Recap
We praise God that after attending the church for over 10 years, Sisi Chambers surrendered her life to the Lord on 22nd February, at the remarkable age of 80.
Pastor Jonathan finished the Sunday morning teaching series on the book of Ruth and began a new series on the “I Am” statements of Christ. He also completed the Teaching Tuesday series on the book of Daniel and has now started a new series looking at the Fruit of the Spirit.
Meanwhile, Pastor Steve completed his Sunday evening series looking at the Faithful and Trustworthy Sayings of Paul found in the Pastoral Epistles.
We are very grateful for the dedication and devotion of Pastors Jonathan and Steve, and we pray that God will continue to bless them as they prepare for each meeting.
Some of the highlights from throughout the month that we have already shared include:
Pastor Jonathan spent a Sunday at Beragh Evangelical Church, where he brought God’s Word in both the morning and evening services.
Pastor Steve has begun helping with RE lessons on Friday afternoons at Boys’ Model School and continues to be involved with SU at the Girls’ Model. He also had the opportunity to share at the Springhill SU group.
We extend our sympathies to Sisi on the passing of her sister Janis, and to all the other families who have been bereaved this month.
As we look ahead to March, we are looking forward to the Pretty n Pink Coffee Morning on Saturday 7th March. Please come along and support this very worthwhile cause.
